How to Calculate GPA

The GPA is calculated based on a 10-point scale using the following grade points:

O = 10 points
A+ = 9 points
A = 8 points
B+ = 7 points
B = 6 points
C = 5 points
U = 0 points

To calculate your GPA:

  1. Multiply each course's credit hours by the grade points earned
  2. Add up all the weighted grade points
  3. Divide by the total number of credit hours

For example: If you earned an O (10 points) in a 3-credit course, that's 3 × 10 = 30 weighted points.
